Are you optimizing your curves? That will greatly reduce filesize. Also, remember that the .swf filesize is nowhere near as large as the .fla filesize. Next time you save your file, select "Save and Compact". This will get rid of all the useless built up data in the .fla, drastically decreasing the filesize. I'm excited to see your entry, I loved Darnell Saves Kwanza.
optimizing curves? Whats that? Save and compact dropped it by like 8mb thnx mang. glad to hear ure excited :P
Optimizing curves is to make your curves so damn sleek it's basically one curve. Mostly on Flash drawings when you zoom in, they're pretty messed up. Try to smoothen all your drawings, because having alot of complicated fbf will boost the filesize D:

select frame Modify>shape>optimize.
click "edit multiple frames" then edit>select all. before optimizing if you wanna do more than one frame at a time.
Try making things into Graphics. That will reduce file size. And put the whole thing into a movie clip when you're done.
That works sometimes. Also make sure you're using as much music as you need.

Don't worry about it, mine always get up into the hundreds of MB as an .fla but the swf is always small enough. That's just the way fbf works especially when you don't use much smoothing on the brush tool and lots of colours. You'll just have to get it to the NG guys through an upload server. Ask Stamper which one they recommend, or PM me if you need more advice, or a shoulder to cry on, or just want to talk, or need a dance partner, a walk on the beach, perhaps bowling, dinner, come up for coffee? Woah woah woah this is all moving too fast! I need some space! |:O

When your Flash file is open, go to File > Save and Compact. This'll knock your file size down to nothing.
I had a file that was 80 MB big and the feature knocked it down to about 12.
Oh wait, someone beat me to the Save and Compact thing. Oh well.
